We are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with Charles and Geoff of Born and Bred along with their fabulous local suppliers and are all from right here in God’s Own County (that’s Yorkshire in case you were wondering). We think their new Born and Bred Artisan Yorkshire Recipe Boxes make the perfect addition to any Unique-Retreat break, especially with Christmas being nearly upon us, why not check out their Christmas boxes.

We also absolutely love the born and bred Artisan Yorkshire specialist recipe boxes. Charles and Geoff Allen have been delivering Yorkshire Holiday Boxes to cottages throughout the county and we are pleased to work with them to provide this specialist service to our guests staying with us at Unique Retreats.

Born and Bred works with more than 60 Yorkshire suppliers to ensure you’ll enjoy farm shop quality food in their recipes – there are no mass-produced supermarket items in these fresh holiday boxes.
From cheese to chorizo (yes there really is a Yorkshire Chorizo), to Pasta made in Malton, the ingredients have been produced in our favourite county and we more than love the fact everything is fresh, local and supporting independent artisan producers.
All recipes have been developed by another local food champion, Steph Moon, who grew up on a farm in Skipton and has worked with food and drink since she left school. The ingredients are definately local but that’s where it ends as you’ll find an international flavour to the recipes from Steph’s travels round the world.
She is now back in Yorkshire where she champions seasonal, local produce so working with Born & Bred is a match made in heaven.

You can customise your Yorkshire Holiday Box by selecting from nine delicious recipes and can choose to make between one and five meals during your Yorkshire Holiday.

Delivery when you want it.
You can choose absolutely any day you like for your Born and Bred Holiday Box to be delivered. It doesn’t matter if you’re not at the cottage/retreat for the delivery either – it can be left in a safe place outside the property and the special insulated packaging will keep everything nice and fresh for when you get back.

What’s a holiday without pushing out the boat a little bit? You’ll find everything from chutneys and cheese to local gin and wine, in addition to chocolate in the Born and Bred online deli – all sourced from Yorkshire!
All Born and Bred need to do now is supply locally produced doggie treats for our four legged friends at Unique Retreats !!
