Whitby is a beautiful seaside town just 3 miles away from Unique-retreatsThere is plenty of things to do there including playing on the beach (endless fun for children), boat rides from the harbour, visit Whitby Museum, and of course the penny arcades!The beach is wide spread (and clean!) with donkey rides available too, but a bucket and spade can provide hours of entertainment for kids
The Harbour is beautiful with cheap boat rides around the area. The boats parked up create a picture perfect setting and there is plenty of room for crab-fishing too…
Whitby Museum is full of information and fascinating objects to look at such as whitby jet, fossils and the withering hand!
