Dog Friendly Luxury Cottages Whitby
After long deliberations we have decided to make all of our luxury cottages and retreats dog friendly. We absolutely adore dogs and we know some of our guests have been disappointed when all of our dog friendly cottages are booked up so they are unable to bring their dogs with them.

Cast light on a dark history this Halloween! See Bram Stoker’s inspiration in a new light as Whitby Abbey is bathed in dramatic illuminations once again. As you explore its Gothic splendour costumed characters will introduce the darker side of the past with grizzly tales.

Starry eyed North York Moors Coast. With vast expanses of unpolluted skies and the drier climate on the eastern side of the country, the stretch of coastline that includes the North York Moors National Park is a great place to glimpse the upcoming meteor showers and gaze at the stars.
A THREE metre high statue of a Seated Man has appeared in one of the most dramatic locations on the North Yorkshire Moors.
The painted bronze statue, which has been likened to Jeremy Corbyn by some locals, was created by artist Sean Henry, commissioned by the David Ross Foundation. The Seated Man of the North Yorkshire Moors was put up at Castleton Rigg, in Westerdale, within the Moors National Park in June, and is proving to be a big draw for tourists and visitors prepared to hike the half a mile to see it.
